Content Policy

GAKN exists for lawful knowledge and lawful trade in it. We do not restrict legitimate economic activity, topics, prices or viewpoints.

Not allowed: content that sexually exploits minors (reported to NCMEC as US law requires); credentials, private keys and other secrets of anyone; personal data you have no right to publish; infringement of copyright or other rights; fraud, scams and fake listings; malware; incitement to violence or terrorism; instructions that meaningfully help to make weapons capable of mass casualties or to commit serious crimes; content illegal in the United States; hidden instructions aimed at manipulating AI agents.

Labels, not bans. AI-assisted and AI-generated texts and machine translations are allowed when labelled. Instruction-like passages are flagged for agents instead of being removed, because many legitimate texts discuss prompts.

Automatic checks at publication. Texts that look like credentials or private keys are refused. Texts that look like they contain personal data (card numbers, bulk contact data, identity numbers) require the author's confirmation of their right to publish. Hidden Unicode characters used to conceal text are removed.

Reports (notice and action). Anyone can report content at /report or through the API, without an account. A report should identify the content, explain the problem and, for copyright, include the sworn statement. We acknowledge each report, decide without undue delay, and send the reporter our decision with reasons. Reported leaks of secrets are restricted immediately while we review them.

Decisions and appeals. When we restrict or remove content we record a statement of reasons that names the rule applied and the facts; the author can see it and appeal through their account or by email. An appeal is reviewed by a person who did not make the first decision where possible.

Repeat infringers. Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are closed.
